During my Easter visit to Edinburgh last week I returned to Edinburgh Zoo in hope of photographing the Giant Pandas outside in their enclosure and after waiting around patiently for a few hours I was lucky enough to witness both Tian Tian and Yang Guang up close and it was an amazing experience to see these animals that are still considered vulnerable right in front of me.
I highly recommend paying the pandas a visit if you find yourself in the Scottish capital but Yang Guang and Tian Tian are due to return to China later this year so time is running out.
I have finally finished sorting through the numerous photographs I took over the festive period of Edinburgh's Christmas Market at night and the gallery is available to view here

Happy New Year!!!
Hogmanay was very wet here in Edinburgh and I got well and truly soaked, but the atmosphere was fantastic and the Pet Shop Boys and the fireworks display above Edinburgh Castle made it all worthwhile.
Last night Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations begin with the Night Afore Concert in West Princes Street Gardens featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor and Clare Grogan's Altered Images and I am really pleased with the photographs I took
